Z06 Pics...

Went by a Vette mini cruise-in yesterday, in MaggieValley,NC.
They had the ubiquitous Yellow new C6 Z06 there.
That frog-like front end look is really apparent on the Fly Yellow...it is a bit unique. Monster wheels/brakes and tars...
Fly/Ferrari/Ducati Yellow isn't my pick, but the car and its specs make it a supercar, performance-wise, whether one is a Vette fan or not.

The price hasn't been released by GM yet, there are speculations of anywhere from mid $60's to mid $70's to mid $80's with dealer markups...

hopefully in about 2 weeks the price will be out.

that's great... I got my '04 Z16 last may for $9800 under sticker - 405HP is a lot to have under your right foot, I can only imagine what 500HP will be like

Congrats on your C6Z...

btw - z06vette.com is an awesome site for keeping up with z's.

and don't forget, all corvettes are red (even though mine is blue )

Sweet Z06, MD. This one, like Gresch's, will be a collectible model IMO. I think I need to expand my garage.

What I don't understand is why it's called a "Z06"...like why Z, and why 06?

Z06 is the GM options package code for the car; Z16 is the option package code for the Le Mans Commemorative Edition Z06; same as the ZR1 was the option package code back in '91.
