One Ugly Benz

the next SL - this thing is hideous
previous generations were sleek, menacing and stylish - none of which come to mind when looking at the 2013
is it just me or did Benz really get it wrong?
give me a 6 over this any day of the week

Horrible. The new Mercedes are really not my thing..

I still love the older SL AMG (circa 2000) with the 5 spoke wheels

If the headlights weren't horrible, it wouldn't be such a bad looking car, imo.

Ugly. The worst part to me is the blatant rip off of the SLS. I don't mind when a concept or a unique model is tapped for some design cues but when they rip it off so heavy handedly, rather than borrowing as an homage, it's just cheap and design cop out.

I think MB & BMW buyers just drink the Kool Aid. Both the E and the 5 are nothing to look at. The 5 is big and no longer has the road feel of a BMW.

The availability of Turbo engines and increased performance but BMW's basic concept is to make every model bigger and heavier.

I think Audi is catching-up. The new 7 looks great where as the 5 GT is a joke. The Audi 6 is also a nice. The Audi SUV's also seem nice and look better than some BMW's (the X3). I still think the X6 is a strange looking car/truck.

Pretty sad looking, on the outside. Is there any difference between the SL and SLS on the inside? IP's look SO similar.

SLeek? NO. Three words: Pedestrian Impact Standards.
