It's ok. When my alternator failed at 45k and when I started doing the work and took it apart... Well hell, there's your problem. Made is Mexico! Bavarians finest engineering. Then again if it said made in Germany or Hungary it would have blown up! And if it said made in Austria then all bets are off lol.

Eh, being a nationalist event by nature, I kinda agree on the whole make the uniforms in America thing. IDK, maybe the Chinese won't sew certain things well intentionally, resulting in an embarrassing wardrobe malfunction of some sort. lol :p

Yup, as a symbolic thing they should have had the athletes' wardrobes made stateside for nationalistic, as well as PR, reasons. The replicas they sell to the masses can be made wherever.

Aside from this little drama, how about them stupid looking berets? With the red, white, and blue flash it looks a little too French, if you ask me.

Where does US Gov-t buy computers for the top secret operations for our agencies? in China, where else? - it was all over the news about 6-8 years ago, when a huge gov-t IT order placed with Lenovo had whole things made in China from chinese components... who needs hackers and viruses when you can install a backdoor right at the factory and have full access!!!

Yeah, foreign supplier for some stuff can be a huge no-no in defense-land. IDK why someone would risk the contract, the company, and jailtime for the short-term payoff.

The replicas they sell to the masses can be made in the USA as well.
Why not put some people at home working.......

And the "berets"? No foul there. Better than some dumb Baseball cap or Cowboy hat.
Besides don't be offending the USA Green Berets, Black Berets (USA Rangers).
Fact is the french don't have a monopoly on the Beret.
