Actually not a cheap shot.

I'm proud of the era i came from.
An era where people cherished their honerable role in the home.
A mother and a father, and children who respected their parents.
Friends that know the meaning of loyalty and honor and obedience to a
moral code that requires that they not lie steal, cheat, and
misrepresent themselves the way phony politicians do.

It was an era when doors we're left unlocked and kids walked to school.
Oh the list goes on and on but i won't belabor the point.

I don't have to ask my wife to do the things most men expect.
She's happy to do them without my asking.

So i guess If you want you're wife to cook you a good meal i maybe the answer is to
find out the reason why she won't do it. The answer might surprise you.

It still does not refute that McCain has done more in Washington than Obama - she has alot to come up to speed on - Personally, I would have thrown the question back to Couric and ask her what Mccain has done since she must have researched it to ask the question - and then have asked how did it stack up to what Obama's done - McCain's always been called a "maverick" because he asks questions no one (Rep or Dem) wants to answer

Hey Quick...I love that era. Truth is though Palin does not play well in the 60-80 demographic for a reason.

BTW...My wife does not cook because she is a terrible cook. Her mom would make noodles and ad SPAM with some canned cheese sauce. I was doomed and I knew it when her mom cooked us dinner.

I grew up in a house where if you wanted beans you needed to soak them, if you wanted a vegetable you went in the garden and if you wanted a chicken you went out to the chicken coop a day prior and killed a chicken.

I cook because I like to eat well.

You may be right about the "Palin does not play well in the 60-80 demographic" But most of the time i don't always fit in those demographics.

It's not that i don't like her as a person. I don't know her.
I just don't think much of her as a VP hopeful. And to watch
McCain boast about her makes me wonder if he is indeed serious that he can't seem her short comings.

OMG she's a terrible cook?? Got it honestly from MOM??
I feel for ya bro. But your right some women folk don't have it
in the cooking area. I know another couple like that. He's a chef
and she doesn't cook a lick. I love her to death though.

Palin's Farewell Speech, when she bailed early on the AK Gov's job...
I heard more coherent stuff from the stoned corner poets, back in the '60s,
at the U. The US of A needs serious help, imo.

Think about this...she walked out of office with a 55% approval rating. Just saying, how many Governors can claim that?

Maybe it's something in those "riviling waters" or "swooping airs",
up there...Jeesshh, I am dumbstruck by her ineptitude; even more
so, by her ability to attract the devoted following.
