So what you are saying is that the current hatred of Obama is nothing more than "Tit for Tat"............

You ragged my guy so we'll now rag yours, so to speak..... Beautiful.

I voted for Obama - and continue to support him, not because I hated Bush (I did think he was an idiot puppet who was fast destroying this country - and a really sad, sad man), but because I wanted the US to change course.

So, far, I am satisfied with the new direction we are going. It may not be perfect (and I do not believe Obama is by any means perfect), but it is far better than the previous course we were on. I also realize it will take a long time to clean up most of the messes of the previous administration so I am willing to wait and see.

Just curious, but what direction is that? What has REALLY changed?

So because someone was able to film some people doing something wrong, the whole organization is wrong?

If this is your yardstick, then you'd better resign from the republican party, resign from your race, and resign from this planet because in any organization, you will find some dumbasses doing something they shouldn't.

Tell me which organization on this planet has completely clean hands?

Well, what about embezzlement of 1+ million dollars by the brother of ACORN'S founder, cover up of that embezzlement, phony voter registration issues, the whole scandal video posted above, major issues with the D.C. and Baltimore offices and so on??? That is enough for me not to like them or want any of my tax dollars funding their projects.

I assume by the question that you believe nothing has changed.

My position is that he has begun the drawdown of the Iraqi war; he has refocuced the war efforts in Afganistan; he has brought back some of the money being hidden in off shore account; and accomplished much of what he promised during the first hundred days; and he is working to fullfil many of the other promises made.

If you'd like to know more, then I suggest that you look at the executive orders issued thus far and the other promises made.

What was the voter registration scandal? What exactly did ACORN do that was illegal? How much actual fraud is there vs. all the BS charges?

Are you also so firmly against all the Republican Groups accused of voter fraud?

Does it matter to you that the RNC has been accused of so much voter supression?

He has kept some promises and only broken a handful so far, but there has been no action on the vast majority. Only time will tell.

ACORN workers have been convicted of submitting false voter registration forms. In some cases thousands of forms. This is not the same or as serious as voting fraud, but it still shows the character of the group from the top to the bottom with fraud and embezzlement from the founder all the way down to the worker bees.

Here is another great thing about ACORN.

Sometimes the group's tactics are confrontational, veering into civil disobedience. For instance, in the late 1980s, ACORN activists in a number of cities, including Chicago, seized abandoned houses and encouraged "squatting" by homeless people, in an attempt to force local governments to salvage abandoned properties and convert them into low-income housing. The targets of ACORN's protests sometimes describe the activists as intractable or even aggressive.

Of course I would be upset if Republicans were doing this. If this is a group that you feel is worthy of your support or our Presidents, then I am baffled.
