Sorry. I didnt think I was being to hard. But they have been saying that 07 M5 will have a 6 speed for close to a year now.

Only the NA market gets the 6MT. I believe Europe is still 7-SMG.

It'd be best to get the best of both worlds. Maybe a 6MT M5 and then an F1 car of my own :2thumbs: (I wish)

Not intending to :hijack: but there's a used '06 M5 at the local dealer, a fresh trade-in for a new M6. When I asked if it was going in for a CPO inspection, the sales manager said that BMWNA will not CPO the E60 and E63 M models; they are to be sold as is, with only factory warranty coverage. Puzzling. But there is not a single CPO E60 M5 nationwide on the BMW CPO search website although that may be more indicative of scarcity than policy.

Were many fewer e60 m5s produced than e39 ones? E39 M5s are easily available CPO'd. It is very odd that these new ones won't be CPO'd.

By new, I meant this new gen of M5 ;).

On a sidenote, I have seen new low mileage cars CPO'd. This typically only happens at the end of a gen cycle, when the dealer is trying to move the previous gen model cars out well after the new gen has arrived.
