2008 MINI challenge with 211 HP

Adding to the list of cars to debut at this fall's Frankfurt Auto Show, Mini announced that the next-generation Mini Challenge will bow at this September's show. The Challenge will be powered by a 211 horsepower turbo four, moving the Mini from 0-62 mph in 6.1 seconds and achieving a top speed of 149 mph.
The cars will be built at Mini's Oxford plant and then shipped to Germany to be transformed into track-only race cars. Improvements over the Mini S include new pistons, exhaust, aero kit, including rear wing and diffuser, front lip spoiler and 17 inch racing wheels and tires. The Challenge even comes with on-board air jacks. The newest Mini will compete in Australia's Mini Challenge Series in early 2008. |
seems to be a good one from Mini...
I can't imagine driving a 211 Hp Mini, how it could be? :D |
There was some Mini-Event going on in Mt. Airy a while back, I saw 5 or 6 old school mini's....

Speaking of old school mini's... Nicole and I saw one a few weeks ago while driving, complete with RHD. |
