I just got a black / tan 135ic. Drives like a 6 series cabrio! Just feels higher and narrower. I am very impressed with this car. A good launch in sport mode will keep up with just about anything (non 4wd) up to about 50mph.

Congrats! can't wait for the pics...

Not sure actually. The shape of it suggests a 3 series sedan to me. Here in Brisbane, Australia some dealers cover up your car like that for the day of your delivery. A sort of unveiling and to make it a bit more special I guess.

nice choice! i think the 1 series is definetly very under rated. will they me coming out with a M1 anytime soon???

What? I Thought there was to be no M version as it would be too close to the M3 performance-wise at a much cheaper price. :dunno:

I've heard that the M1 might use a 4 cyl twin turbo. I think I read that in one of the US car rags. I can't imagine anything better (that will fit) than the current 6 cyl twin turbo, it is an AWESOME engine!

Then again, imagine the 1 series with the same 300hp (under-rated) and a much lighter front end, bigger tires and brakes, even better suspension....wow

i may get the M1 if it comes out with the same engine as a 335xi(6cyl. twin turbo). it would be ridiculously fast and i would be eating m3s for breakfast! lol.

The 135i already has that engine. BMW wouldn't utilize the same engine in the M version and the 135i.
