Happy to report that the ride is definitely better. I no longer have to weave all over the place, trying to avoid potholes and bumps. Even my wife said that the ride is smoother and quieter.

Have you had a look at the Perelli p zero Rossi tyres?
Any feedback on these?

just about all reversing cameras are poor at night. night vision sensors on the market now though, but only high end vehicles.

no practical solution I would suggest

I wouldn't agree with that as I had been in japanese cars that had cameras that worked much much better at night.

I had been trying to find a photo of someone adding an extra reverse light without luck. Anyone got one?

X5 M

Anyone on this board ordered/ordering an X5M?

I am considering trading in mine for one. The dealer does not have an X5M yet but does have an X6M which they are loaning out to me for 24 hours.

I just wanted to know what sort of prices people are paying for one so I know what to aim for.

Thanks in advance.

Air cond issue

Hi guys,

I have a 2003 E53 X5 with a climate control issue. The A/C works fine for about 20 mins or so, managing the temps as per settings, after that, no air comes from the cabin vents at all, although the fan remains running and the A/C appears to be working. My independent repairer mentioned it could be the doors/flaps in the system. I have tried adjusting the control settings from auto to manual (all settings either randomly or in sequence) with no success. If I turn the engine off and wait about 10 mins then everything works normally again for a while. is this something anyone else has experienced?

Cheers

David
