Recommended Diesel Tuners in Sydney/NSW??

Hello,

My warranty is out in Feb this year & I'm thinking of getting a re-map done on my 06 3.0d.. Have any Aussie members done this?? Would like a recommendation for a shop in Sydney if possible? Might even have the injectors serviced and what not just for good measure!

Cheers

If you want to send me a PM I can give you the heads up on any Mod your considering and where to source them. As there is alot of false info floating around regarding remaps etc.

Speak to Ezio or Alessio at City Performance in Artarmon. Cheers, Dan.

I haven't done anything with it to tell you true, I am kind of refraining from spending any money on mods because I am strongly considering a trade up to an E70 XM or facelift 9PA Cayenne Turbo in a years time.

The flip side is I keep and drive it into the ground.. in that case I will definitely get it tuned!

I recently traded my X5 for a Jeep SRT8 Alpine, no it's not an X5M but darn close, it's a brute I just want to keep driving with 344kw, and deactivation on 4 cylinders, I'm more than happy with fuel consumption. Worth a serious look.

Had one Jeep GC, that's was more than enough for a lifetime! never again.

I do know they've improved them vastly since the last generation but once bitten.....

I too am looking at E70. My investigations to date are that post 2009 models (and maybe late 2009) have encrypted ECU - ie 2009 and earlier can be remapped via the OBDC port. Post 2009 a tad harder.

Oh btw, get the E53 retuned if you keep it. The grin factor is worth it.

There is a bunch of stuff out for E70 XM, modding shouldn't be an issue!

I would imagine your X3 is a rocket ship with a tune and lighter kerb weight!!?
