Recommendations on Brake disks (rotors)?

Hi,
When painting my front callipers, decided to check brake disc thickness and they are 2.6mm below the minimum thickness stamped on the side!

Does anyone know more or less how much BMW discs cost and can anyone recomend a reasonable quality aftermarket replacement if they cost the earth? Are the Pagid or Textar discs from Euro Car Parts any good?

thanks!
Rob

Thanks Pewters! I've ordered from Euro Car Parts. Hope I can get the discs off ok after a certain Ponthir indi mashed the hub spigots when they did the cv joint gaiters.
The front control and track arms need doing but I've booked into Forza on your recommendation. I just couldn't split the front control arm from the ball joint or the ball joint from the hub carrier. Tried fork, splitter and wheel puller. In theory this should be a simple job but in the end decided it was all too time-consuming, so get it done by an expert.
cheers Rob

Hi,

Im also looking to change the rotors on my X5 3.0D sport.

Are the ones sold by Euro car parts or German Swedish OAM quality or as as good? I have purchaed items from Euro and German Swedish and the parts have been more or less OAM but in a different packaging. Not sure if the same applied to the rotors

Thanks in advance
