You are right, i can't see spending $1200 or more for minimal gains by installing the SW and a CAI. I went crazy with the M3, Dinan SC, Big TB, exhaust and the SW and it made a huge difference, but...

This may not even be close to what is causing your issue, but my M3 was doing the same when braking and then it got worse and it would vibrate horribly just driving, come to find a caliper froze.

I like Dinan, my M3 has a Dinan SC in it, so they are good, but if I am seeing a little gain, maybe it is just better to go stock.

In case anyone has this issued, it was finally determined that the ignition switch was bad, it was only putting out 5 volts, 12 volts is waht is normal, so the voltage caused the issue, plus right...

Thanks, I called BMW in California they said the thrust arm is the wishbone, strut tensioner or tension strut, all the same thing. The thrust arm bushing kit is a Control arm Bushing.
