Having the same problem exactly. I havent put a pressure bleeder on it yet or computer hooked up. I guess those are my next steps although i hate to taking it to a shop and waste my money.

Is it really the valve going bad...?
It freezes up then forces oil out of the weakest point in the engine.
Once it is thawed isnt it back to normal...?
Now you have to find where the oil is forced...
