Clear all the errors and then scan the errors...
Clear all the errors and then scan the errors again. Some of the errors can be from past issues.

Just check pins 7 and 8 are bridged. I'm pretty positive that is your problem if you can see engine and trans info but nothing else. You can even take the cover off and have a visual. :thumbup:

Let us know what year X5 you have. If it is 2001 and later, you need to have pins 7 and 8 on the OBDII connector of the cable bridged. Take a multimeter and make sure those pins are bridged. ...
