The pads *should* wear evenly, since the caliper is a sliding type but as the guide pins wear and bind slightly, the inner pads will end up wearing faster. All pretty normal. :cool:

I'm guessing if you cycle through the messages on the dash, there will be the "Check Brake Linings" message in there. ;)

As has been mentioned, "side lights" aren't on the sides - they are the "angel eyes" or halo lamps.

Here in NZ, these aren't "cosmetic" - they are the "park" lights. I figure the US lighting is...

There must be *some* message on the dash - hence the two arrows ( >...< ) - what does the Control Check say when you push the right-hand button on the cluster?
