To change the AV-IN setting, simply select AV, then press the right-hand control knob for the settings menu, and change the system to what you want. This affects AV-IN only, so you can eg watch PAL...

When connecting AV-IN, make sure you connect video and video-gnd to the correct wires.

Remember the isolated video ground issue

Thats a grounding issue

The AV-IN has an isolated ground, to avoid ground loops.

You need to ground the DVD player to the chassis of the vehicle.
