cool, if you can dig up the part #, that'd be great, I certainly don't mind buying a $10 CD. I have a strict "no burnt CD" policy for my Nav drive. ;)

I believe that i coded it correctly to USA mode,...

That was using the latest TCU (84109195455), in a 2003 330xi, USA model.

I'm in IT so i tend to be pessimistic about anything with cables / connectors etc... I've heard we've "moved on" from many things, yet I still update firmware on RAID controllers with 3.5" floppy...

I find serial interfaces to be more reliable. My older laptop has a serial interface, so I bought the serial adapter... No need to mess with USB drivers etc...

Right... everything works, but they can't figure out whats wrong... (i.e all bulbs work etc)... I just want to disable the warning lights on the dash, which is what I thought NavCoder did for me...

Correct. It takes about 2 seconds to connect once you have unplugged the CD changer cable. No soldering at all.
