the problem is I am not in US and want to buy the new car and have it shipped overseas. The dealers are not allowed to sell the new cars for export because BMW Europe complains US cars are cheaper...

So, what are my options? Can I open the bottom door manually? The wires on the battery are disconnected, so I don't know if jump starting will feed the electricity for it to open.

Does the loading floor opens up without opening the bottom part of the trunk? I need to get to the battery and connect it, but the sliding floor is only moving toward the bottom door and not up....

You can install any 18 wheels, but with the right offset. I believe stock 99' style have +40mm and they do fit 4.8is.
