Replaced the left front CV axle. Had to go to 2 different parts stores to rent a 12pt axle nut and a 7-ton puller. But now I know even simple axle changes take longer on a BMW than a Chevy.

I don't know enough about flow to really know how it affects drag. I'd expect the lower amount surface area the air stops on to have a big effect, but you could be correct.
