I guess I've been lucky, that was my original module I sent in at 218K miles. I have done a couple of wheel speed sensors, but that was all.

module repair pro seems serious about fixing the stuff.

Yea. I didn't find any torque specs for them but that is a good idea if I can find the specs. I really had no notion of how far to take them.

I actually have a Schwaben torque wrench on order...

This is a good idea, but we don't have any decent parts yards around here. There are some modules on eBay, and maybe that was the way to go, but the last thing I ordered hasn't been shipped a week...

To be honest I didn't ask him where he was getting the filter, it is a GM transmission. It was $80 for the filter kit. Dexron VI fluid. 6 qts for $60. $240 for the labor.
