Because it lost the coding between ECU and key?? Not so strange, it happens quite a bit with electronics like this!! I recall the Range Rover used to do this a LOT and cause huge problems for owners...

Ive got a 19" for some reason, but as they are virtually identical rolling circumference, it really won't make much difference if you use a 19" or a 17" as a spare.

I have a 3.0i 2003 facelift....she's currently getting 22 mpg on a mixture of rural roads, mtorways and town. Apparently that's pretty good....I don't think I'll get a lot better than that. UK speed...
