You have to ditch the Tcase and extend your drive shaft. It would take some fab work to get the tail housing of the tranny to mate up to a drive shaft though. Look for Williams 6 speed swap on here....

Personally, I think the trans is absolute junk in the X. On the flip side they can rebuilt fairly easily...

It's a mixed bag with rebuilt titles. Some are totaled for silly reasons, others get f'd up and then you get some hack jobs to get them back on the road.

I had a leak but mine was actually at the pump. One of the grommets was shot was was causing my leak. You might need to remove the shroud to get a better view of the line.
