tire pressure?
what's up x5world? I just wanted to know what tire pressure you guys recommend for the 87 style rims with diamaris tires or should I follow BMW's suggested pressures?

34 PSI front and rear
I am just now replacing my Damaris front tires at 28,000 miles.

I believe in suggested tire pressures. BMW sets those pressures to provide the best balance of handling, braking, life, and ride quality requirements of a tire. It's Ok to add a few pounds over if you like a crisper ride.

Thanks for info. I think I will try x-tra lbs cause I do like a crisper ride.

My dealer has always kept mine at 40 psi.

My dealer service department said to keep all my tyres at 270kpa (39psi). This gives a slightly sharper ride, but ensures more even tyre wear. 05 diesel fitted with 19" sport wheels and Bridgestone Turanzas.

Front and Rear 2.2 bar

32/33 psi here all round with just me and she-who-must-be-obeyed in the X. I step up the rear to 39 if going on a trip with more passengers.
IMHO 39 psi is overinflated for normal (non-laden) driving conditions - center of your tires will wear faster |
