Need new rotors and pads on my X.

So I am looking to replacing the rotors and pads on my '01 4.4i and I would like to go with slotted rotors and ceramic pads. On the rotors I'd really like to have them in a shiny non-corrosive finish. I have been looking around and have seen that some recommend Axxis pads and I have seen the Brembo slotted rotors (by the pictures I've seen they appear not to be shiny). Initially I was interested in the rotors being drilled as well but from my bit of research it seems that drilled rotors on an X due to its weight is an nvitation to issues with cracking. Naturally I know there are alot of choices out there but I could really use a bit of help on what type of solution(s) some of you have went with. Thanks in advance!

Check out these rotors. The hub is not shiny, but it has a black coating that keeps them looking nice when others start to rust. You can get them in slotted form. I have the plain ones on the X5 and slotted on my 325i. So far they look and perform great.

I went with Axxis XBG pads. They are between the ceramic Ultimats and organic Delux Plus pads.

Good luck.
