Ah. The track is a different story. Im assuming the motor must've spent most of its time in the higher rpm range. In the case of drag racing, I'm again assuming you used the launch control? That would give the turbos a chance to spool up & produce power quicker. Unfortunately I have not tested the L/C yet, as our car does not have enough miles. My perceived lag comes from regular street driving. It doesn't feel like the E53 in that the second you step on the pedal the engine responds. To me, it doesn't feel like the smaller turbo I6 offering from BMW either. It takes a second to acknowledge your request & then the power just starts pouring on exponentially IMHO. The fact that the car is so powerful once it's rolling, may as well be why I perceive it to be so laggy.
