guys & gals i have been a long supporter of BMW but ive had all the fun at the service dept that i can handle. i had two 2010's that stayed in the shop so much BMW bought me out of them & one was a 750LI. now that my X5M spent over 2 months in BMW service jail the love is GONE! i considered an X5 diesel & the sales manager which i know real well said not no but absolutely not because they had one of them that had become a resident at the dealership BUT he had something that i may like. now i know that this will get some giggles but they had a 2012 VW touareg TDI:bustingupafter i quit laughing & he showed it to me i liked it so much i bought it! after 2000 miles in it in the few weeks ive owned it i havnt looked back.
so if i see any of you guys are getting gas(or broke down)as im driving by getting 25-30mpg il honk & call BMW assist for you:nanana:

i traded it in. it only had 22k miles & they only gave me 65k for it which i thought was weak but after 3 weeks at the manheim sale in dallas it only brought 65,500.

That sounds like a lot of miles for such a new car though.

$65.5k is a lot of cash to buy a prob vehicle regardless of what it is... why did it spend so much time in the shop?

Not too bad actually, mine has 12k miles and I will be happy to get 70K if I were to sell. It is the nature of the business, cars depreciate worse than anything.
