I'd definitely do it again! Only downfall is its a gas hog. But the sheer power and handling are well worth it! Add an exhaust to bring the beauty out of this engine.

Exactly, If I go with turbo s or turbo, it will probably be second hand, but it I go with X5M, or possible cayenne s, it will be new, so thats my dilemma :S

So true on Turbo S pricing.
Regular Cayenne Turbos nicely equipped go for between 125K and 160K.
You can add about 25K for the S variety.

i don't think i can justify spending that much for a car that will be similar in performance to X5M except have a porsche badge.

I completely understand. But it drives way more like a great handling sedan than the BMW. The acceleration feels more effortless, but no way it would be worth that much more for going fast without sweating. If the handling does not wow you (and it does me), then no need to spend more money.

I don't know why people keep saying the cayenne turbo outperforms the X5M. Pretty much every road test shows the X outperforming the Porsche in acceleration and handling.

I drove the Cayenne, it does feel a little lighter and the interior looks a bit more upscale but that's about it. The engine is the same old 4.8 turbo from the old Cayenne which is disappointing. I could see paying at most 10K more for it not 30-40K more, hell no. I will keep the M and add a lightly used Cayman R with that money.

I love my X5M, but after driving both car for almost year... Cayenne's price is definitely justify! Worth every penny.

I'll buy another the X5M in a heart beat.

i love my X5 M. the only things i'd change are the ugly stock rims & the exhaust...every once in a while i wish i'd gotten a carbon black instead of silverstone.
