Favorite X3 Mod?
 

Show me what you got! Not Rims though. I've seen a million!

I have a few mods planned for my X3 in the coming year or so. It will have to be spread out over time, since they do cost money and time.

First up, I will probably be changing from the Dark Sycamore wood trim to the Titan Matte trim, starting with the door handles and then the centre console when I have time.

Next, it'll likely be the EU-wide angle outside mirrors, and then the OEM CD changer.

I already removed all the stupid warning labels, including the one in the sunvisors.

So far, I have only added mud flaps, which seem to do a pretty good job of keeping the wet slop off of the X3's outrageous running boards. I just ordered a trailer hitch for both it's intended purpose and also to secure a bike rack as my days of throwing them on the roof are over (too much drag).

Other than that, I am considering those rain guards that permit one to open the side windows slightly even in a driving rain. I am less than sold as yet, but I keep eyeing them and waiting to see an X3 so equipped so I can see the aesthetics.

Finally, some basic OEM wheels and 4 snow tires, for easy swappage.

Oops, I almost forgot one "mod"... got those thirsty rubber interior floor mats. Those OEM woven rugs are just too fragile for a mud hog.

Regarding mud flaps, and presuming you have the plastic base trim - which ones did you order. Most of the sites I have found have a variety of inventory and terrible pictures!

I am looking to add a trailer hitch as well, but also want to be able to carry light lumber on a roof rail system
