"self-leveling suspension inactive" error delete near N Cali?
***RESOLUTION BELOW ON POST #6***
I just installed my BC coilovers but am still left with the dreaded "self-leveling suspension inactive" error code. Does anyone know anyone or any specific shop in N California who can permanently delete this code for me? I've read about Suncore on Ebay, but also read some people are deleting the code via DIS. |
coil over conversion error msg
Did your conversion come w/ a error msg module? You can also try removing fuse # 57 in the glove.

Still waiting for a DIY once you figure it out so hurry up!;) |
Still looking for someone locally that knows how to do this. At this point, I'd much rather go to someone that has done this before. Or, if someone has detailed instructions how to remove the error code using INPA or DIS, please let me know.

I finally got this resolved!!! No more "self-leveling suspension inactive" error on the dash and it cost me $22!!!
1) Buy BMW Scanner 1.4.0 on Ebay ($22) 2) Find a Windows XP laptop (this could be difficult) 3) Install application using CD. Install drivers next. 4) Follow the video... http://vid43.photobucket.com/albums/...psxz0mtp3b.mp4 I got the idea from this thread below... Quick question: doesn't this work through inpa/dis also? I have the program but never gotten to the point of connecting it to the car...yet

I had inpa and could not do it. I read it was possible but never saw anyone confirm it. The bmw scanner literally took me 3 minutes to figure it out. ☺
