One option is to buy a real cheap bore scope. Then use a mirror adapter on it. This way you can see the valves themselves. If they are not damaged and the pistons look fine the timing method might work. Especially if you pull the valve cover and see the valves being depressed when they shouldn't be.

Its a long shot but a cheap longshot.

I thought I'd keep you guys updated because there is nothing I hate more than an unresolved post. I found the problem! I took the passenger side valve cover off and instantly could see my problem. The cam bolt was loose so the exhaust side is working fine but the intake camshaft isn't moving since the bolt spun loose. None of the valves where compressed so I'm crossing my fingers that there isn't any damage and I can rent a G.A.S timing kit and put it back together.
