Estoril blue 4.6is price

As many of you know I’ve been trying to find a decent 4.6is for a while now. I came across this one but it has been in an accident. No salvage title but does say structure damage to the front left. What do you think a fair price would be for it if it checks out ok with a PPI?

Did you try KBB?

Yes but they don’t have a category for an car that’s been in an accident.

Tough. Going to be a personal equation for that one. @ 96k if it hasn't had chain guides done... It will soon unless previous owners were good about oil changes and installed the updated tensioner part. Not a bad price if it's solid, but worse if it needs $3-5k in work soon after purchase. Good luck, estoril looks great on an X5.

Correct but if you put in data in NADA and KBB their top end of the $ range with those miles and a clean car is what that dealer is asking for a structurally damaged car. Your introducing a whole new level of complexity into a diagnosis from a structural repair into an already fickle beast.

Personally I'd pass when theres been structural damage but to answer your question I'd pay no more than $5k (avg trade is $4800, rough is $3800) and thats IF it passes a PPI with flying colors.

I have an estoril blue 4.6is that I’ll be selling soon :)

I think I saw that exact car for sale on sf bay area craigslist about a month ago for about $3500.

I'd be interested in your X5 Davelaz23 but you are on the opposite side of the country haha.

Well if you don’t buy this one and you find yourself in NY come and check it out! It’s worth a look. 95k miles, M interior with the suede, great condition. Always taken care of, lots of goodies are being installed at the moment, even has the highly sought after under carriage guard ;)

I was just about to say, 4.6is go for pretty much nothing relatively frequently. 8k for a damaged car seems high...
