Vibration Proofing

I will soon be upgrading my door speakers, tweeters and installing a sub. With my factory speakers on the Kenwood head unit, certain ranges of the audio, specifically higher pitched bass frequencies, cause the entire “door” to rattle, ruining the listening experience. I quoted door because I’m not at all sure of what the vibration is occurring in and am asking to see if any of you all know of any possible fixes or common issues that cause this. I want to resolve the issue if possible before I upgrade or while I upgrade because if it’s in the door, easier to do it in one trip than in two.

There's a lot to rattle in a door.

I would open up the door and start with the door panel off and find a perfect test case song or better use an app on your phone to generate a tone. Use pieces of foam or maybe better some great stuff form to lock things down that shake and rattle

Put a ring (gasket) of foam or dynamat between the thin metal and the door mid bass speakers. Also fabric tape wrap wiring. May as well check bolts holding window brackets while there and bolts and plastic window retainer clips while in there!!!

I will take a look at both of your suggestions! Thank you
