Sagging headliner

Any ideas on a quick fix? I’ve got a foot square of sagging headliner, right next to the front passenger side..

Unfortunately, no good quick fix. Have to drop the headliner and recover. I just went through that on an e61 5 series. Not fun. But man does the suede headliner look good after all the work. Even added the m5 suede sun visors.

If you are just looking to physically hold the headliner up temporarily, then I've seen people use thumb tacks before. Not pretty, but it works.

Agree with crystal, no easy fix. in the sort term it started getting in my way so I cut out a piece to at least be safe. Funny you bring it up. I'm starting my headliner removal today. BTW, if you do cut it open be ready for a big mess from old dried up foam.

I did a headliner Re-glue on a Volvo recently. Took the whole thing out before peeling the fabric and very glad the old foam was literally millions of crumbs.

To remove the old foam/adhesive I used a pressure washer and that was amazing right down to the backer foam instantly. It looked like I was spray painting white over brown.
