Roof Spoiler

I received my painted ACS replica roof spoiler and was wondering the best way to mount it from those of you who have already done this?

I used Bison Poly Max Express, not sure if they have that where you live. :-)
Not sure if they sell Sikaflex 252 in your area but that would work very well too.

I used BMW's beta link. That's after a failed attempt with 3m vht tape. But even with the beta link I ended up having to remove the upper spoiler and screw the new one on. Kept pulling up on one side. If you have to go this route, use very short screws. 1/4" or you will likely go through the top of your new spoiler.

None of them do. You can order them separately though. Knockoffs of course. But I'm rocking one. Sorry for the large images, I just hot linked.

Has anyone had any luck using the provided role of double sided tape?

Mine didn't come with double sided tape so I used glue / window sealant. Double sided tape would work too, can't think of a way it wont work :D

I just like to learn from others mistakes instead of making my own. I'd hate to be going 100+ in the highway and see my spoiler take lift off in the rearview mirror, so window sealant may be the best option here...

My 3m vht failed. Lifted one side of the spoiler. Removed, cleaned, retaped and had the other side lift.
Lasted about 6 months each time. I'mm guessing the fitment is just off enough to cause it to do so over time.

Window sealant or beta link is probably best. I added screwed as well but that's probably unnecessary. I was just tired of messing with it.
