F@(*S!:@ condensation again!

Third set of headlights under warranty and yesterday, when it was raining hard but about 8 degrees C, the lights were fogging up with condensation again!!

Does anyone have any similar experience of this? I guess they will have to go back again! And now the auto central locking (drive off and the car locks) has packed up. Its a 2002 3.0i and has had its fair share of glitches already.

I get some very, very light condensation if the far turn signal corners on my lights every now and again. Did you get the vehicle from a dealer?

Got the same problem in my right headlamps :( - I say it's from having my bulb replaced in humid SC :D - My dealer service guy says the headlights have a vent, so some moisture could get in - the "official" BMW cure is to keep your headlights on until they burn off the moisture :tsk:

Phoned the dealer and they said the same thing - keep the lights on and after 15 minutes it should burn off. Great! What a joke. :tsk:

I saw some very light condensation on the far insides, closest to the grilles, on mine after a particularly viscious rain.
