Angel Eyes Wiring

Have a set of Angel Eyes from Jlevi and need help on wire routing. Have the instruction from JL, but their specifics are from an e46. Won't work so well on an e53 so am looking for help. Primarily on how to run wiring to opposite side of vehicle from where the relay is mounted. They used a wire carrier to run across engine bay, no such thing on the X. Also, isn't the ECU on the passenger side? In their instructions it is on the drivers side. Any and all advice is welcome and as always pics are a plus.

A couple links- more to follow?

Hey dj,
Here are a couple recent threads, but unforunately they don't give 100% of details. I previously searched back several months & couldn't find anymore detail than what's in these threads. If I find more, I'll add em here for you.

It might be the wisest to just link them to the Fog light wiring for now, which saves you from digging into the tucked-away ECU, as well as having to lengthen the wiring to reach there. If/When you have another reason to get into the ECU, you could rewire them then to be always on or wired to switch, etc. That seems to be the consensus recently. I was hoping to have mine installed by now, but it shouldn't be long...
:goodluck:

ECU is on the passenger side. I am trying to devise a work around to avoid the ECU, but so far, no dice. I don't think it'll work by tapping into the fogs on an '01. Best advice I can give you is to lean on JLevi for support. Jon and Nick have been helpful to other members who were tackling this DIY in the past.
