My radiator drain plug just had the same thing happen (sheered off below the top of screw and above threads). So it is stuck up in the radiator (dripping about once every 3 seconds). Headed out to the BMW dealer to get this part and then try to remove the old one (it appears to have a hollow center so maybe I can get something in there to help in removing it).
