E53 4.6is - Smoked Out Headlights & Foglights

1 Attachment(s)
In between laundry loads today, I applied Lamin-X film to my headlights and foglights. The process wasn't terribly difficult, though the passenger headlight required a bit of trimming. The instructions are good, and you definitely need to use a hairdryer. Otherwise, it's a pretty easy install.

Now, I need to find some spray-on tint to do the side marker lights.

Looks good. Need an outside pic to get a better look. You can get the side markers from bimmian.

Where did you get your black grills? I have tried them from ebay and Bimmian and found the fit to not be exact as the original grills.

Thanks for the props. Yep, I know about Bimmian, but I am not paying $60 for those markers. As to the grills, I painted them. Cost me $4 for a can of textured flat black Rustoleum plastic paint from Home Depot.

Welcome to the smoked headlights/blacked out 4.6is w/spray painted grilles club! ;)
I got my smoked side markers from eBay for cheap, and did my tails with the VHT niteshades tint... Hard to work with on bigger lights, will be easy as hell on the side markers.

Thanks for the tip - I am ordering some VHT from Summit today. Say hello to New Orleans for me (I graduated from Tulane).

Gotta love this city! So hows Colorado compared to here, culture shock? If I leave here for a week I miss the awesome food instantly and become quickly disappointed in the bars... I don't think I would be happy living anywhere else.

Colorado is sloooooow. There is no comparing the food and drink to Louisiana, but the state is definitely beautiful.
