Self_Level Suspension is back :(
Okay, this is very strange, I took my X5 out for its very first detailing and after i left everything was fine, parked it for about 30 mins, I started it up after that and I got self_level suspension inactive. Now I no its not the air bags of the rear suspension because i checked, any idea on why this is going off?
When they did the full detail they also went ahead and removed the rear seats and cleaned up like crazy over there, any chance they pulled or did something with some wires back there? |
Unlikely.

need details. Year Production Date/ Engine Size Single Axle Air Suspension? If single axle air suspension, check alternator charging voltage. If ok, interrogate EHC fault memory. No faults stored, check shadow memory, if fault stored in shadow memory, perform test plan for pre-drive check delay. The radio interfers with the EHC control unit causing this error, this test plan will delay the pre-drive check until after the radio has powered on. |
I got that self level suspension to amd my dealer fix it, he said it was the level sensor...

I had the same issue. It was solved by delaying the self level system from operating for 30sec after the cars starts. I was told the radio and the SLS run on the same (insert word I don't know here), thus you can get false readings when the car starts up.

you may want to check the fuses in the glove box and in the trunk. i had the self leveling sup inactive warning recently and it turned out one of the fuses was blown. replaced new one and the warning went away. thank god
