ants oz' diesel is the key. I have towed maybe 4800 lbs [rental trailer and a load of 50 square bales of dense, good quality coastal hay] behind my gasser 3.0 and really missed the torque of my old Ford diesel truck. Rolling terrain in north middle GA had me losing speed and downshifting to 4th and even 3rd to maintain 50ish speeds. Great vehicle generally and fine for occasional loads around 5k or so [with proper tongue weight], but the gas 3.0 is clearly not a vehicle, IMHO, for frequent towing of that kind of load.
