Slow filling problem 3.0d
 

OK, I have to fix this. Every time I go to the gas station, I have to spend quite some time there, filling the car up.

I know it's not the gas pump, it happens with every pump I've ever tried.

Is there any way to check the pipe that connects the filling mouth with the tank? And can it be something in that pipe? Or is it something in the tank itself.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

This happens to me as well, but mostly when the tank is VERY empty. It may be the tank venting system (unsure how this works) but it's dependent on the nozzle orientation in the filler neck and fill speed, at least for the first 10 liters or so. Afterwards it doesn't seem to be as annoying. Considering I fill the car once a month (at the soonest), it's nothing I've pursued.
