No Calibration is needed in the X5. The X5 never came with MKI (to my knowledge) which had a "calibration" feature.

Navigation Calibration is detailed in this document from BMW, page 35

Okay, so perhaps I am describing this wrong. I did the base calibration of entering an intersection and then pressing "crossing intersection". The system will accurately plot my location until I make even a subtle turn (especially traffic circles). The unit does not accurately track these turns (yaw) and will drift to parallel streets if they are within a block or two of my actual location.

So I was wondering is there a way to re-calibrate or diagnose the gyro and/or wheel sensors (though the give a reading in the service menu).
