You'll need additional weight in the vehicle with this method because the load bearing point of where the wood is reduces the "leverage" effect of how far away the center of the tire contact patch is from the swing arm pivot point. Make sure the vehicle is safely supported and have four adults sit in it while you snug down the bolts. You should end up very close to the proper ride height when finished.
