^ Thanks for the update, sounds like youve handled that nicely.

However...one comment:

brake fluid is hygroscopic- it absorbs water. Over TIME this will lead to breakdown of components in the braking system, which in tern cause discoloration of the fluid. Using the COLOR of the fluid as an indicator is not adequate. Mileage is not appropriate. I do 100k miles in two years, or 200 miles in two years, the fluid has the same (roughly) water content. this is why this ONE item has only a time-based maintenance interval.

Having said that, 2 year or 2.5 years is probably fine. But dont wait for dirty fluid!
