How did all the plugs look?
Notice the difference in the cap design? The new one has hard blocks under the metal tabs to prevent the eventual fatigue of the position, leading to leaks. I just bought a BMW cap and I don't think it had the detents. I'll have to check again later.

I haven't had time to change the plugs I only took one out and had to pack up and go cuz it was already late...I'm planning to change them this weekend
As far as smoking, mine smokes a few minutes after start up...if I step on the acceleration, it smokes like a diesel locomotive..not nice..
Yes about the cap...much better design..mine started to leak so I had to change it...
Well I'll have to check the smoking part again this weekend ..with all that crud inside the engine, I'm not even surprised...but interesting how it got worse after changing the CCV valves
