Been using that stuff since ownership.....

I would not use APC on it. No need. Just a damp cloth . The doors gaskets stay clean pretty well.
The trunk hatch gasket, now that get's grimey (the upper half)

Can't help the inevitable rubbing , etc that just creates a small tear or two on the bottom part of the gasket...

Passenger side is the worst.
Others, barely noticable but for the OCD type, I know it's there...
