Been lurking for a while but just joined the forum. Great indeed.
I currently a 2004 530i which is my daily driver. Being that I own and operate a mobile detailing company, I keep it nice and shiny so much that most people can't believe its an 04 E60. Great car but need to step up to a SUV. I diy a lot and my car has only been to a mechanic only once since I bought it used. I have the M54 engine and I'm very familiar with that and how to do most preventative and repairs on it. Runs like a champ at 98k miles. I'm searching for an X5 now and trying to decide between an 07-08 E70 or a 2005-6 E53. The E53 3.0i because its familiar engine in the M54 and E70 because I like the styling but will need to learn the newer engine(N52?).
Anyway, glad to be here and have been searching and reading a lot already.
