Yes those spring nuts are on super tight. Just couldn't seem to work anything underneath all the while fretting I was going to crack/break the plastic backing. This new trim will look so much better and match nicely with the trims I got from bcredliner a while back. My old flap looked horrible so I didn't regret milling the posts.

You'd think I'd learn by now nothing with a BMW is an easy quick fix.
