This is on FCP euro's site:

When servicing your BMW's automatic transmission it is important to replace the fill plug with a new plug as it has a seal which is integrated and cannot be replaced. Failure to replace this plug could cause a transmission leak.


And I believe this is my fill plug as it is listed in RealOEMp.com as "Screw plug, outer hexagon". Everyone else's seems to be "inner hexagon" (hex) or torx on every write up I have read.
