Just for people who have tried to follow this thread through but couldn't make out what the correct part is -



LQ065T9BR54U is not the correct part, the viewing angle is poor. Yes you can see the screen from the drivers seat but by that angle the screen is starting to white-out a bit. The eBay seller I brought this from said it's suitable for the E53 but it's not an acceptable replacement and I had to return it. Buy LQ065T9BR51U.
